Banana Bread Recipe

Here is my recipe for making delicious banana bread. What’s different about my recipe is my secret ingredient……..coconut Give this a try!

Ingredients

• 1 cup granulated sugar
• ½ cup unsalted butter
• 2 large eggs
• 2 ripe bananas
• 1 tablespoon milk
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• ½ teaspoon of vanilla essence
• ¼ cup grated coconut
• 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Gather three mixing bowls.

Cream the sugar and butter in the first mixing bowl until it becomes light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beat well.

In the second bowl, mash the bananas and add the milk and cinnamon.

In the third bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and salt.

Add the banana mixture to the creamed mixture and stir until combined. Add dry ingredients, mixing just until the flour disappears.

Add grated coconut to the batter and mix well.

Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for one (1) hour, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Set aside to cool for fifteen (15) minutes. Remove bread from pan and cool completely before slicing.

Now your Banana Bread is ready to be served. Enjoy!
